about

HELPING YOU TO MOVE BETTER AND IMPROVE SYMPTOM PRESENTIATION

We are a grassroots intervention project and we are here to help people living with Parkinson’s to improve their self management.  We gather resources, experiences we are on hand  with expert knowledge, resources and a supportive community.

The time is now – Taking Action Matters.

The Parkinson’s Thrive Project is an intentional community built for people with Parkinson’s. Our goal is to encourage and support change, self-management, learning, and growth by bringing together resources that truly matters – tailored specifically to the needs of our members. We focus on what you need to live your best life, with no distractions – only empowerment and connection.

Our work is about helping everyone to better self manage. We do this by gathering resources, listening to expert voices, building partnerships with organisations and offering a monthly intentional action plan focused on one lifestyle intervention.

All our work is based on the latest research in the world of health and well-being.

what people are saying

”Without this virtual space we would have a much lonelier journey with PD. Until joining this group in particular I was very much alone on this PD journey. Being able to see others going through similar circumstances with gusto leaves no acceptable recourse but to form your own positive approach. We better each other through the simple act of sharing how we strive to overcome.”

‘Having contact with likeminded people who are proactive in the management of their own condition and give such honest and positive support is invaluable and unique.”
